Celebrate the season with this elegant 48” x 51” wall
quilt… BLOCK OF THE MONTH PROGRAMME
BEGINS OCTOBER 2007
Expressions of interest are now sought so that we can source and
order the specialized fabrics and order the original patterns to create this
wonderful Christmas Quilt. We anticipate starting this block of the month
programme July/August 2007 thereby giving you plenty of time to create and
then hang this beautiful quilt for your next Christmas. The programme will
run for 11 months and pricing will be in the vicinity of $23.00-$25.00 per
month plus post. This will include all original patterns and fabrics to make
the entire quilt top.

WILLIAM MORRIS FLORAL SAMPLER
64” x 64”
BEGINNING OCTOBER 2007
This 13 block sampler quilt is set on point and bordered by an ornate
design. The blocks are based on the many flowers and patterns that can be
found on some of the wallpapers and textiles designed by William Morris from
the 1870’s to 1890’s. The project suits beginners and advanced quilters and
the applique can be completed by hand or machine.
Expressions of interest are now being sought. Classes: Begin March 2007.

BLOCK OF THE MONTH - BEGINNING SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2007
What an absolutely stunning quilt in the beautiful colours of lilacs,
pinks, several shades of grey, burgundy’s, peach, pinks, caramel, beige and
greens on a warm ecru vine pattern of a tone on tone background. Measuring
72“ x 72“ this is a delight for the lovers of applique - very easy for
either hand or machine applique. Two blocks a months will be sent for 10
months, 11th month the centre border will be sent and the 12th
month the leaf border will be sent. All patterns are mirror imaged for easy
tracing. $60 first month, then $25 per month for 11 months to complete
entire quilt top, borders, bindings and patterns. Option: the designer used
braid on the two inner panels - the choice is yours if you wish to do the
same.

design has just been released in the last month or so in the USA - using a
collection of soft florals and wishing for uninterrupted time in the garden.
Time to think reflect and dream as we often shortchange ourselves in time.
Fusible web appliqué flowers with ric rac stems and simple embroidery.
Incorporating appliqué, simple embroidery and piecework - in soft hues of
lilacs, pinks, greens and golden yellows.

RING IN THE NEW
4 month programme
12 delightful stitcheries - Stitch a little cheer for each
month of the year! Measuring just 4" x 6", they are quick little projects
you can frame and enjoy through our 4 month programme. At the end of 4
months, all the blocks can be assembled into a small wallhanging measuring
25" x 25". If you get too busy to stitch, you can simply cut out the 4" x 6"
pictures of the blackwork from the patterns and frame them instead! The
patterns are to scale. This would be a great take along project for when you
are out and about with a little time up your sleeve.
3 stitcheries will be posted each month, including
patterns, background stitchery fabric, border and sashings fabric, binding
fabric and DMC thread.
$18.00 per month plus postage.

Block of the Month - over 4 months or 8 months.
The idea is that you come and choose 5 of your favourite
fabrics in your own colour choices and the pattern is free.
The "pattern" below is to show you what the quilt will
look like when finished. I particularly love the triangle edging to it -
very different.
All fabrics are pre cut, ready for you to start sewing
straight away, all fabrics are labelled and the monthly patterns highlighted
in separate stages to ensure you know exactly which rows you will be sewing
each month. This beautiful quilt comes in two sizes with a lovely and unique
outer diamond edge.
Choose from lap size (51" x 66") or Queen size 86" x 101".
Costings: Lap size: $43.00 per month for 4 months.
Queen size: $80.00 per month for 4 months (or you may
choose to create this one over 8 months at $40.00 per month.
